Faaupo, southern end of narrow fringing reef before it widens, octobre 21, 2001, photo GP 930-6, FLMNH-UF 1710, prov. det. T. Komai (pers. comm. May 2006 "a distinctive new species, most probaly a member of Pagurixus. It is quite distinctive in having Elassochirus-like right cheliped").
