Distribution & Ecology: Sala y Gomez (north of).

Regional Records: EASTER ISLAND - Sergestes geminus Judkins, 1978: 25 (eastern tropical Pacific, up to 10° S/110° W). - REMARK - Planktonic species included here although it is slightly out of the the area of Easter Island and surroundings. Sergestes geminus is a twin species of S. orientalis. Sergestes orientalis is widely distributed in the Indo-West Pacific but is not yet recorded from Easter Island.

Depth distribution: 200 - 1000 m
