Periclimenaeus hecate (Nobili, 1904)


Distribution : Li (2008: 218) - Type locality: Djibouti. Also recorded from Red Sea, coasts of Kenya, Comoro Is, Seychelles, la Réunion, Maldives, Vietnam, Nansha Is, Indonesia, Australia (Western Australia, Queesland), French Polynesia (Society); shallow waters in sea anemones.

Distribution & Ecology: Society (Tahiti) - Marine; Shoreline to 10 m; associated with anemones: hosts - Diplosoma sp. (Ascidiacea, Aplousobranchia, Didemnidae). Reported associating with species of Diplosoma Macdonald, 1859 by Bruce (1976) from Kenya.
