Distribution : (Hendrickx & Salgado-Barragán, 2002) - Atlantic and Indo-Pacific. Eastern Pacific, from Gulf of California to Equator and Oceanic Islands: Baja California Sur, Galapagos. Plus Clipperton.

Remarks : Lt up to 40-80 mm

Distribution & Ecology: Clipperton (coral rubbles, 8 m. recorded down to 54 m). Society (Tahiti) - Marine; Shoreline to 10 m (0-2m); Soft bottom; Burrower.
