Regional Records: Thomassinia sp. - Thomassin et al., 1982: 394 (Moorea). - Thomassinia moorea Poore, 1997: 416, fig. 38 (Moorea). - Poupin, 1998: 32 (Checklist). - Remark: Two others Thomassiniidae, attributed by Poore (1997: 408) to "? Mictaxius sp.", were also collected with this new species. The specimens are in poor condition and Poore writes "While the species is represented by such incomplete specimens, its generic placement is uncertain.
