A joint Franco-American project to genetically barcode the first complete tropical ecosystem. The team is led by researchers at the University of California Berkeley and the CNRS-EPHE France through their field stations in Moorea, CRIOBE and GUMP. The Institut de Recherche de l'Ecole Navale, IRENav, has contributed to the Invertebrate fieldwork organized in 2008 (Crustacea, October 3-29, 2008).
