Distribution : (Tan & Ng, 2007: 134) - Widely reporte in the IWP, from western Indian Ocean, Madagascar, Red sea to Pacific as far as east as Hao Atoll, Tuamotu, French Polynesia. Include also, Réunion, Glorieuses Is., Seychelles, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cocos-Keeling Is., Vietnam, Taiwan, Guam, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Samoa, Japan, Easter Island. - Sublittoral (0-55 m); Hard bottom.
